Kuari Pass is supremely highlighted for the fact that it is in the vicinity of Nanda Devi Biosphere. The Kuari top has a spectacular view of Himalayan ranges. The great Nanda and Sunanda Devi peaks, Trishul and Chaukhamba Mountains are visible from here. About the trek

This trek is graded as an easy to moderate trek of about 33 kilometres at length. It takes hardly a week to complete this trek. Generally, Joshimath is the starting point of this trek. There are other two routes that begins at Tapovan and Nandprayag respectively. We disclose to you the most liked route via Joshimath, Auli, Gorson Bugyal and finally Kuari pass. Joshimath is the basecamp for a majority of trekkers and pilgrims. It has all the facilities like ATMs, markets, stays, petrol pumps and availability of public transports. Through many Himalayan remote villages and virgin oak and deodar forests, you will be exposed to the amazing site of plush meadows or Bugyals called in the native language. The Gorson Bugyal will be a remarkable destination of this expedition. The rosy rhododendrons amidst the vast pastures will definitely steal your heart! You will also visit Auli, which needless to say is the darling of all ardent mountain travellers. To give this extravagant trek a fine ending, Kuari pass offers the spell bounding views of majestic Himalayan ranges and peaks.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to approach Kuari pass trek is from May till mid-June and October to November. The weather is suitable and the Bugyals and forests are brought to lush greenery. Winter trek is quite difficult yet it too is very famous. Monsoons are too be avoided.
